Quatorial Programmes
Our teaching style
Our lessons are based on the belief that clear aims and hard work achieve the best results. All lessons are taught in accordance with our house style, the essential features of which are:
- Transparent objectives, clearly identified at the beginning of each lesson
- Focus on key language skills and language learning strategies
- Appropriate time limits set for each activity
- A pace calculated to challenge the learner at all times
- Interaction between teacher-student (and student-student as appropriate)
- Private study exercises, which consolidate classroom activities and preparation time to maximise the benefits of the lesson
- Feedback on progress achieved at the end of lessons
Quatorial Lessons
have a maximum of 4 students and focus on developing comprehension and expression skills. They offer a high level of personal attention and are also preceded by two 30 minute guided preparation sessions. These preparation periods are essential as they enables the teacher and student to maximise the time spent in the actual lesson.
Tutorial Lessons
lessons are completely individualised allowing you and the teacher to focus on your personal language requirements.
Spoken Performance Workshops
Interactive teacher-led sessions with 6 – 10 students of differing levels (reflecting the real world), which focus on speaking skills, business skills (meetings, presentations etc), pronunciation, study skills, body language, voice-coaching and current affairs.
Guided Self-Study Sessions
Supervised by a staff member, Guided Self-Study Sessions allow you to consolidate work covered in your lessons and also use various media to focus on e-learning opportunities.

15 hours of Quatorial lessons (including Quatorial Project) and 5 hours of Spoken Performance Workshops and 5 hours of Tutorial lessons per week
Quatorial + 10 Tutorial Study
15 hours of Quatorial lessons (including Quatorial Project) and 5 hours of Spoken Performance Workshops and 10 hours of Tutorial lessons per week
Quatorial + 15 Tutorial Study
15 hours of Quatorial lessons (including Quatorial Project) and 15 hours of Tutorial lessons per week
